Kuwait Chemical Society and Kuwait petroleum Corporation celebrated with other countries the networking woman breakfast in the International Year of Chemistry 2011. This activity scheduled to gather active women working in the field of chemistry in memory of Madame Curie, as well as recognition of the role of women in chemistry and society.

It is a created Women Sharing a Chemical Moment in Time to bring chemistry women together in Kuwait for a breakfast meeting on 18 January in 2011 in Kuwait city in Kuwait Towers as a pre-launch event for the International Year of Chemistry.
